I get an error when trying to upload a scan to an existing patient

Ensure to upload a scan to Lumi from the Home page (press the 'Home' button in the top left corner). Lumi will recognize if the scan belongs to an existing patient of the same patient if the same Lumi ID is used and will add it to that patient.

The T1cSF or CTncSF segmentation result is inaccurate, what can I do about this?

Begin by verifying whether your scan data meets the specified requirements outlined in the System Configuration. If your scan data is compatible with Lumi, but the result of the T1cSF or CTncSF segmentation is not accurate enough, please inform us on the case by using the Feedback form on Lumi Web. To find the Feedback form, press the person icon in the top right corner and select 'Report Feedback'. Additionally, you can use the Shape Edit functionality to improve the accuracy of your 3D models, see: Shape Edit (Lumi HL2) or Shape Edit (Lumi Web)

I created a manual segmentation, but it is not there anymore after I reopen the 3D patient

Manual segmentation results are, in contrast to automatic segmentation results, not saved automatically. Therefore, always use the save button in the 3D patient menu to save the 3D patient, if you want to keep the created manual segmentation.

I uploaded 3D models to Lumi Web, but they are not visible in the Import STL module

To add uploaded 3D models to a 3D patient, make sure to upload the 3D models at the correct level in Lumi Web. The correct level to upload your 3D models is on Study or 3D patient level. Check whether you have uploaded your 3D models at the correct level:

  • Study level: in the Home window click on a patient card > click on the scan card > now you are at study level

  • 3D patient level: in the Home window click on a patient card > click on the scan card > click on the 3D patient card > click on the 3D patient name at the top bar

In the HoloLens 2, I can not move, scale or resize my 3D patient anymore

To manipulate (move, scale, resize) a 3D patient in the HoloLens 2, always make sure you have selected the 3D patient part in the 3D patient menu. The selected part in the 3D patient menu will be highlighted, meaning it has a lighter color than the other parts. In the 3D patient menu, each part has a specific submenu, with all options included relevant for that part.

I want to use Joint Session mode, but I don't see the session of my colleague

To adequately use a joint session, ensure both HoloLenses are connected to a stable internet connection. Additionally, select the same patient group as your colleague who started the joint session and ensure both users have access to that patient group.

My colleague and I are in a Joint Session, however the 3D patient is not shown at the same spot for both of us

For a co-located joint session, it is very important that both environments are scanned very carefully. In this way, the HoloLenses can match the environments and project the 3D patient at the same spot for the users. An optimal environment includes some basic objects as walls, tables and chairs and minimizes the amount of moving objects and/or persons in the field of view of the HoloLens 2.
