Navigate and Select a Patient​

The Lumi software uses a hierarchy with 3 levels to store and find scans or 3D patients:

1. Patient group: select your patient group in the bar at the upper right corner and see all stored patients in your patient group

2. Study level: shows all different studies that are available for the selected patient

3. 3D patient level: shows all available 3D patients for the selected patient and study. Series of a study are represented as 3D patients. The user can open a 3D patient and view it in the 3D viewer. A 3D patient can contain conventional image data (slices) of a series with or without 3D models. From the 3D viewer, different segmentation algorithms can be initiated.

You can navigate through the different levels by clicking on the cards (go level deeper) or use the breadcrumbs (top left) to navigate directly to a specific level. The search bar can be used to find patients. Additional filters can be applied to ease navigation.

Enabling the 'Research view' in the upper right corner will show more detailed filters.
