Share a 3D Patient with Smartphone or Tablet

​Users can share a 3D patient on a mobile device with users who don’t have direct access to the Lumi application (e.g. patients or colleagues).

 

Follow the steps to share a 3D patient with patients or collegues:

1. Open a 3D patient and press 'Share' in the bottom bar

2. A QR code is generated that allows other users to access the 3D patient. Various options are available:

   • Load the 3D patient directly by scanning the QR code with a mobile phone​

   • Copy the URL of the QR code by right-clicking on the QR code

   • Send the URL of the QR code directly to a mobile phone using a text message

   • Create a hard-copy print of the QR code

3. Press 'Show PIN' and enter the PIN to get access to the 3D patient on your mobile phone​

   • Note: each generated QR code is secured with a PIN. The PIN can be send directly to an email address. ​

   • Note: it is not possible to restore the PIN. In case the PIN is lost, a new QR should be created. Every time the ‘Share 3D Patient’ button is pressed, a new combination of a QR with PIN is created.
