Before starting LumiNE Elite in Lumi HL2, make sure to:

1. Confirm the indication for EVD using imaging and clinical characteristics

2. Conform absence of contra-indications (see Product Specification)

3. Digitally transfer CT scan from PACS to Lumi Prepare

4. Automatically segment the skin, skull, brain and ventricles using Lumi Segment​

   • Note: Use only 3D models automatically or manually segmented from the uploaded DICOM by Lumi's segmentation algorithms to create a 3D Patient for the EVD procedure. Externally created or modified 3D models are not supported in Lumi Referenced and may compromise the accuracy of the holographic visualization and EVD procedure.​

5. Verify the hologram using the verification workflow (see Verify 3D Patient)​
